2020 has certainly been a weird one, and the world has definitely thrown us a curveball we weren’t expecting. In fact, you could say it hit us right in the sucker. While many couples relished in this new opportunity to binge-watch Tiger King in their pajamas, grow a (rather shortlived) Tik Tok career together and bake more banana bread than they could humanly consume, others struggled in such close quarters.
However, it seems as though regular ol’ couples weren’t the only ones who parted ways. Celebrity couples have also struggled to navigate the whirlwind that was 2020, and banana bread obviously just wasn’t enough to keep them together. So, it’s time to delve into the realm of heartbreak as we look back at all of the famous couples we lost in 2020 and realize once again that 2020 really was the worst.
Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich
Well, these two certainly took us on a wild ride in 2020. After a troubling few years for Demi Lovato, fans were over the moon when she found love in the form of Max Ehrich in March 2020. They weren’t shy when it came to flouting their devotion to each other on social media, and while some were reaching for the sick bucket, others couldn’t help but smile when Max proposed four months later.
But it wasn’t long before their whirlwind romance took another turn. By September, the wedding was off. Demi called it quits when she just couldn’t shake the feeling that Max was using her. At the People’s Choice Awards, Demi joked that, “I went into lockdown mode, and got engaged…I binged seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars, got unengaged, then went looking for aliens in the desert.” Alien hunting makes everything better.
Simone Biles and Stacey Ervin Jr.
You probably know Simone Biles from a little thing called, er, the Olympics! As arguably one of the most famous gymnasts of all time, fans have not only followed her career for years, but they also followed her relationship with fellow gymnast Stacey Ervin Jr. The couple racked up the likes when they became Instagram official in 2017, but 2020 broke them… just like our sanity.
Simone spoke about the split in her August Vogue cover story, stating that “It’s hard being young and having that long of a relationship and then ending it. But it was for the best.” Although 2020 marked the end of that particular relationship, this year hasn’t been all bad. Simone has since tumbled and fallen head over heels for professional NFL player, Jonathan Owens.
Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock
They always say that you should never mix business with pleasure, but that’s exactly what Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock did when they got hitched back in 2013. The couple had been dating for a year before they tied the knot, and as soon as they became husband and wife, Brandon also became Kelly’s manager. This business deal/marriage lasted a long while, until 2020 happened.
In June 2020, Kelly shocked fans when she filed for divorce from her husband. The divorce papers cited irreconcilable differences, and the couple soon ventured into a court battle to win full custody over their two children. Five months later, it was revealed that Clarkson had won primary custody of them. We wonder when she’ll get back into the dating game?
Johnny Galecki and Alaina Meyer
While it may have been impossible for some to imagine Johnny Galecki (AKA Leonard Hofstadter) with anyone but Kaley Cuoco (AKA Penny Hofstadter), this Big Bang Theory star seems to have a way with the ladies. Unfortunately, even this stud hasn’t been able to shake the curse that was 2020. Although Johnny was with ex-girlfriend Alaina Meyer for over two years, they are now no longer.
The former couple hasn’t spoken about their breakup, but it’s fair to say that they have more important things to be worrying about than talking to the press. In December 2019, the couple welcomed a son, Avery, into the world. Now we’re assuming that they’re co-parenting with scientific precision and skill. We expect nothing less from Leonard.
Ryan Seacrest and Shayna Taylor
Considering Ryan Seacrest has aged like a fine wine, we really don’t blame Shayna Taylor for struggling to stay away. Seacrest and his blogger ex-girlfriend had been dating on-and-off for around eight years before he finally called time on their relationship in late June. Many fans couldn’t help but link this decision with the struggles he’s faced this year.
In May, American Idol viewers were concerned about his slurred speech in the live finale of the talent competition. His representatives were forced to deny that he had any health issues, releasing a statement that read: “Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home.”
Taraji P. Henson and Kelvin Hayden
Whether you know Taraji P. Henson for her impeccable acting ability or you know Kelvin Hayden thanks to his former NFL glory, these two definitely made their mark as a couple. They announced their engagement in 2018 and their wedding was planned for 2020, but then it was postponed because the world essentially imploded.
Although many assumed that the couple would reschedule their wedding, it just “didn’t work out.” Taraji spoke about the end of her relationship in an October episode of The Breakfast Club radio show. On this show, she said, “I tried. I said, ‘Let’s do the therapy thing,’ but if you’re both not on the same page with that, then you feel like you’re taking it on yourself and that’s not a fair position for anybody to play in a relationship.”
Channing Tatum and Jessie J
These two certainly took us by surprise, didn’t they? When Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan got divorced, we thought we would never be happy again. Then along came Jessie J, a British singer with a quirky personality, and we forgot about Jenna in an instant. The couple got together in 2018, but disaster struck in late 2019 when they broke up.
However, all was not lost! After a month apart, they decided to keep their love fire burning and give it another shot. They managed to heat things up for a few more months, but unfortunately, the howling winds of 2020 blew it right back out again in April 2020. An insider told People that, “They cared enough about each other to try again but realized it was better to move on.”
Vanessa Morgan and Michael Kopech
While we don’t know whether the height difference between Vanessa Morgan and Michael Kopech was endearing or a score for the baseball player’s chiropractor, these two made no secret of the fact that they were in love. After starting their adorable relationship in 2018, they tied the knot in January 2020. Seven months later, Vanessa had some exciting news to share with the world.
On July 24, the Riverdale star shared a video of her gender reveal party, announcing her pregnancy with a baby boy. Kopech was noticeably absent, and it became clear why just a few days later. Although it didn’t make its way to the press until July 27, Vanessa’s husband had filed for divorce a month earlier. Representatives have confirmed that the baby is his, and Vanessa seems to be thriving as a single momma-to-be.
Karamo Brown and Ian Jordan
Is Queer Eye one of the best TV shows out there? Yasss, queen! Karamo has been winning us over (and making us cry uncontrollably) on the show since 2018. That same year, he became engaged to Ian Jordan, his partner of eight years. While many hoped to see the first Queer Eye wedding played out on their screens, that dream burst like a balloon in June 2020.
Karamo devastated us all with this news while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He confirmed that his wedding “was postponed because of the pandemic, but now it’s postponed officially. My fiancé and I, we were together for 10 years, and we broke up about three and a half months ago.” That was news we totally weren’t prepared for.
Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey
For a while, Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey gave us hope. They gave us hope that people really can find love on reality dating shows. You know, the ones that everyone publicly hates but secretly loves. The former couple first met on the Netlflix show, Too Hot to Handle at the beginning of the year, and they were both just so attractive it had to work out, right?
After winning the coveted prize money alongside their other competitors, Harry moved to the United States to be with Francesca and all seemed well. Of course, we all know that the course of reality TV love never does run smooth – and it didn’t for them. In June, Francesca announced that they were not together anymore and that she was “heartbroken.” We’re sure she was.
Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy
If there were an award for the strangest couple out there, these two would definitely be in the running for first place. Long gone were the days of Mary-Kate and Ashley’s New York Minute when this Olsen sister was spotted with French banker Olivier Sarkozy in 2012, and fans were baffled by this pairing. When images like the one below made their way into the press, they were even more confused.
However, the couple continued to date and they even tied the knot in November 2015 and became husband and wife. When 2020 came around, the world changed – and so did their relationship. Mary-Kate filed for divorce in April, and a month later she even filed an emergency order to help move the process along even quicker. This was denied, and while they are still separated, they are also still married.
Gillian Anderson and Peter Morgan
Gillian Anderson brought light to the darkness in 2020 with her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Crown, but it seems as though her personal life hasn’t been quite as successful as her place in politics. After four years together, Gillian Anderson and her former partner – who just so happens to be the creator of The Crown – separated.
Over the course of their relationship, Gillian and Peter never moved in together, but they were incredibly close and had an extremely loving bond. However, their “highly demanding schedules” got in the way of the next step, and they decided to part ways. To celebrate being single, Gillian decided to get herself a dog. We really don’t blame her.
Noa Centineo and Alexis Ren
If you’ve ever written a love letter to a crush à la To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before-style, you’ll know who Noah Centineo is. After all, he’s the internet’s boyfriend. For about six months, though, he was also the boyfriend of model/influencer Alexis Ren. The couple first took their annoyingly attractive love public back in October 2019, and Noah seemed pretty smitten.
During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar at the beginning of the year, Noah gushed that, “It’s the longest relationship I’ve been in.” But all good things must come to an end, and eagle-eyed fans noticed that by the time March came around all traces of Alexis had disappeared off his Instagram grid, and the former lovebirds had unfollowed each other. Since then, he’s been spotted getting cozy with Kylie Jenner’s BFF, Stassi Karanikolaou…
Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler
Just when you think a marriage is solid, 2020 comes around and ruins everything. That’s what it did for Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler, anyway. After an incredible ten years of marriage, these guys announced that they were getting divorced in April – and fans just couldn’t understand why. That same month they had been stranded in the Bahamas for three weeks, was paradise not enough to keep them together?
Kristin confirmed the separation from her NFL star husband on Instagram, writing, “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart.” We guess that’s just the way the cookie crumbled in 2020.
Kacey Musgraves and Ruston Kelly
Let’s be honest; Kacey Musgraves and Ruston Kelly are the best. Not only were they an adorable couple, but they’ve somehow been able to remain adorable even in the midst of a divorce. After two and a half years of marriage and four years as a couple, they announced in July that they were “parting ways in marriage.”
When they released their statement with the Associated Press, their love and admiration for each other was obvious. They said, “We believe that we were put into each other’s lives for a divine reason and have both changed each other infinitely for the better. The love we have for each other goes far beyond the relationship we’ve shared as husband and wife. It’s a soul connection that can never be erased.” Ugh, why is it raining inside?
Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson
In June 2019, Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson confirmed that they were a couple. At the time, they had been dating for a few months, and we have to seriously commend these two for keeping their relationship a secret. All of the eyes, walls, sidewalks, and probably even the bathroom stalls have eyes in Hollywood.
Before too long, their relationship became a solid institution within the celebrity world. They moved in together, they got adorable matching tattoos, and they were even spotted moving a rather (*cough*) risqué purchase into their home in May 2019. However, the couple broke things off in April 2020, and it’s suggested that their love had simply “ran its course.”
Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti
It’s always fun when a celebrity posts cryptic messages on their social media accounts. It’s like your very own Cluedo where you have to try and find out who they’re passively-aggressively talking to. In October, though, we didn’t have to think too hard when Iggy Azalea wrote: “You lost a real 1. People take loyalty for granted & that’s why I’d rather be alone.”
The next morning, Iggy went into a little more detail about her earlier post. “What I mean last night was that I’m raising my son alone & I’m not in a relationship.” Iggy and Playboi Carti had been together since late 2018 and they had welcomed a son, Onyx, in June. Now they’re both single, and 2020 found another toy to play with.
Scott Disick and Sofia Richie
When Scott Disick and Sofia Richie got together in 2017, you could say that they raised a few eyebrows. With Scott 15 years Sofia’s senior, many critics just couldn’t get past their age difference. But we do have to hand it to them and give them a round of applause because these two managed to push past the odds and stick together for three years before calling it quits.
Fans of Keeping Up With the Kardashians will know that Scott Disick has had a troublesome year. This supposedly led to their breakup in May 2020, with a source telling E! News that, “Sofia thinks Scott has a lot on his plate right now and thinks it’s best for them to be apart so he can focus on himself.” Although fans still hope that the 37-year-old will get back with Kourtney Kardashian, he’s reportedly now dating a 19-year-old.
Jonah Hill and Gianna Santos
Jonah Hill isn’t the kind of celeb to flaunt his personal life on social media, so we wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t even know these two were dating in the first place. But these two were loved up, and they were even engaged! While it’s not known how long they were actually dating, we do know that the actor put a ring on it in October 2019.
It’s been thought that their subsequent breakup has been friendly and amicable and that there’s no bad blood between these two. Both Jonah and Beanie Feldstein, his sister, are still actively following her on Instagram. And you know that if they’re still following each other on the ‘Gram, it’s all good.
Lana Del Rey and Sean Larkin
Lana Del Rey may be one of the most famous singers that this world has to offer, but she likes to live a rather quiet life. That’s her aesthetic, right? Unlike typical celebrities, Lana doesn’t have oodles of famous BFFs or date the hottest guy in Hollywood. Because of this, we weren’t too surprised when she started dating police Sergeant Sean “Sticks” Larkin.
While Larkin has risen to fame as one of the stars of the reality cop show, Live PD, he’s not exactly well-known. But we did get to know him a little better when Larkin and Lana started dating in September 2019. In true Del Rey form, they kept their relationship pretty low-key, but it’s been noted that they broke up in March 2020. Sean told The New York Times that, “We just have busy schedules right now.”
Jeffree Star and Nathan Schwandt
Despite all of the drama and controversy that has surrounded Jeffree Star over the course of his career, one constant in his life was always his boyfriend, Nathan Schwandt. The makeup mogul and his partner had been together since 2015, and they had become somewhat of an “it” couple within the YouTube and social media world.
With such a huge fan base, Jeffree Star’s followers couldn’t help but notice a change in him at the start of the year. After he pulled out of an event in January and removed “Wife of Nathan” from his Instagram bio, they knew that something was wrong. Jeffree later confirmed the news of the breakup on social media, writing: “We broke up… 💔 Sorry for the silence, I’ve been trying to heal 😰.”
Olivia Munn and Tucker Roberts
We’d love to think that holding puppies makes everything better, but it turns out that even the cutest balls of fluff can’t make 2020 any less traumatic. Yes, just one month after they made their love Instagram official for us all to see, Olivia Munn and Tucker Roberts parted ways. This news made its way to us at the beginning of the year, but it turns out that they secretly separated at the end of 2019.
Perhaps they’re to blame for the whirlwind that was 2020? You never know. One thing we do know is that these two lovebirds were together for around a year before they broke up and that their separation wasn’t a cruel one. According to Us Weekly, they decided that they were better off as friends and that they ended things “amicably.”
Pete Davidson and Kaia Gerber
We don’t know what Pete Davidson does, but there’s no doubt about the fact that he’s a hit with the ladies. From his engagement to Ariana Grande to his intriguing dalliance with Kate Beckinsale, the SNL star found his way to Kaia Gerber’s heart in late 2019. These two seemed perfect for each other, especially as they licked each other’s faces and the model carried her boyfriend around the pool like a baby…
You know, as the average couple does. It seems as though their poolside shenanigans weren’t enough to keep these two together, though. It was announced that they had broken up after three months in January 2020. Pete later spoke about their relationship, noting that Kaia, “shouldn’t have to worry about some dude that just has issues. She should be enjoying her work.”
Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler
Apparently, we’re just not allowed to be happy anymore. Why else would Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler have broken up after almost nine incredible (and stylish) years together? Well, it turns out that their busy schedules may have also had something to do with it. The couple quietly parted ways earlier in the year.
According to sources close to the pair, Vanessa was busy filming The Princess Switch 2 while Austin was moving his hips in an upcoming Elvis Presley biopic, and they just couldn’t make their schedules work together. The source also noted that “There is no bad blood at all, and they have a lot of respect for each other.”
Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich
2020 forced many couples apart, but for Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich, their time away from each other was their own decision. Well, Julianne’s at least. The Dancing With the Stars alum and her professional NHL ex got together in 2013 and eventually became husband and wife in 2017. All seemed well until their “marriage woes” kicked in in January.
For Julianne, the idea of quarantining with her husband was just too much to handle, so she decided to temporarily move to their house in Idaho and spend some time alone. It wasn’t long before they announced that they had parted ways, and while they tried to reconcile a little later in the year, 2020 hit them with its full force and Hough eventually filed for divorce in November.
Jesse Metcalfe and Cara Santana
It seems as though the John Tucker Must Die apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, as Jesse Metcalfe and Cara Santana parted ways after Jesse’s wandering hands landed him in deep trouble. These two first started dating back in 2009, and they got engaged seven years later. Now, there definitely won’t be a wedding.
At the beginning of the year, Jesse was spotted getting cozy with several women. Pictures of him holding their hands and cuddling them made their way to the press, and Cara obviously thought they looked a little too close for comfort. They have not publicly announced their separation, but they’re both noticeably absent from each other’s Instagram grids.
Dove Cameron and Thomas Doherty
Ahhh, young love. Nothing can beat it, right? Well, 2020 certainly had something to say about that. After over three and a half wonderful and beautiful years together, actors Dove Cameron and Thomas Doherty announced that they were no longer a couple. This came as a devastating blow to those who follow either of them on social media. Did you SEE their couple photos?! Too cute.
The news was confirmed by Dove on social media in December, three months after they had actually broken up. On Twitter, she wrote: “Hi all. In October, @thomasadoherty and I decided to part ways. The decision was incredibly difficult, but we still have love for each other, and will remain friends.” We’re still not over it, to be honest.
Luke Evans and Rafa Olarra
2020 has left many couples in the lurch, and while you may not have even known that Luke Evans and Rafa Olarra were dating, they very much were. It’s not known how long these two were together, but Luke posted a video of them both frolicking around in Hawaii back in February. Going Instagram official with a boyfriend is not Luke’s vibe – so it seemed VERY serious.
But just a few months later, Evans deleted all traces of his partner on Instagram and even unfollowed him at the same time. You don’t need to be a genius to know that you only unfollow someone you dated if they become an ex. So, the world put two and two together and assumed that they had broken up. Luke’s representative declined to comment on the matter.
Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson
Technically, Miley has gone through two breakups this year as her divorce from Liam Hemsworth was finalized in January. Yes, we will forever hope that they’ll find their way back together and live happily ever after. But after Miley and Chris parted ways last year, she began dating fellow former child star, Cody Simpson. They were VERY open about their personal endeavors on social media, so we really couldn’t ignore this new relationship.
But after ten months together, rumors began to circulate that Cody and Cyrus had broken up. Miley then confirmed the rumors during a live Instagram stream. “For right now, two halves can’t make a whole and we’re individually just working on ourselves to become the people that we wanna be.” That’s actually pretty cute, right?
Anna Wintour and Shelby Bryan
Anna Wintour is known for her tough exterior, but it’s safe to say that 2020 has broken her. It’s broken up her relationship of 20 years, at least. The fashion mogul’s relationship with Shelby Bryan had been the talk of the town for decades, especially as they were both married when they supposedly started dating.
Even though many have claimed their relationship started as an affair, they certainly stood the test of time. However, good things never seem to last, and the news of their parting reached us all in October. It has been suggested that they broke up many years ago, but they’ve kept it so private that nobody even knew. How does she do it?
Malik Beasley and Montana Yao
We love a Hollywood scandal, and 2020 seemed to be full of them. This was especially true for Malik Beasley and Montana Yao – with a little help from Larsa Pippen. In November 2020, Montana Yao filed for divorce from her husband of nine months after he was caught getting a little too close to Kim Kardashian’s ex-BFF.
When Malik Beasley was caught holding hands with Larsa, Montana was not happy. While it’s not known whether their dalliance was a full-blown affair, Montana decided that she wasn’t going to stick around to find out. Since then, Malik and Larsa have gone public with their relationship. Talk about adding salt to the wound.
Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum
When Ashley Hebert and J.P Rosenbaum tied the knot in 2012, they made the hearts of The Bachelor fans sing. They became known as the real deal, and most of all, they were a success. While countless couples before them had broken up after the show ended, these two stood strong. For that they became legends. But even legends haven’t been able to survive in 2020.
In October, the couple released a joint statement on their social media pages that read: “It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that, after months of separation, Jp and I have amicably decided to go our separate ways.” The couple also went into the specifics of their breakup, stating that their “differences have taken a toll on our relationship.’ They lasted eight years, so hats off to them.
Lamar Odom and Sabrina Parr
Those familiar with Lamar Odom will know that life has dealt him many struggles. When his marriage to Khloe Kardashian came to an end, it became clear that he has often fallen into the hands of addiction. However, his life seemed to be on the up when he became engaged to Sabrina Parr in late 2019.
Sadly, just one year after he put a ring on it, Parr confirmed on Instagram that the engagement was off and that they were no longer together. She noted that “Lamar has some things that he alone has to work through,” and that she is “no longer able to be by his side while he seeks the help he so desperately needs.”
Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson
We love to see a Bachelor In Paradise couple go the long haul, but it seems as though Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson just couldn’t make it work. After finding love on the show, the couple announced that they were separating in February 2020. On Valentine’s Day, no less. Those guys obviously wanted to break fans’ hearts. And they did just that.
Chris and Krystal had been married for just eight months before they announced that they were separating. They spoke to Bachelor Nation about their breakup, noting that, “Never did we imagine this scenario, but we’ve come to a point where we both need to work on ourselves.” Announcing the news on the day of love basically sums up 2020, really.
Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon
It’s a good thing that Bethenny Frankel is the star of numerous reality TV shows because we just can’t keep up with this lady. One minute she’s starring on The Real Housewives of New York, and the next minute she’s becoming a real estate mogul with Fredrik Eklund. That’s before we even mention her love life…
Technically, Bethenny is still married to her husband Jason Hoppy. The pair tied the knot in 2010 and separated two years later. While Frankel filed for divorce over seven years ago, it has never actually been finalized. However, that didn’t stop her from entering into a two-year relationship with movie producer Paul Bernon. You guessed it though; they’ve now broken up.
Colbie Caillat and Justin Young
We bet Colbie wasn’t feeling so “Bubbly” this year. After all, 2020 marked the end of her decade-long romance with her ex-partner and bandmate, Justin Young. The former couple confirmed the news in April and stated that the news of their separation was “difficult” for them to share with the world. However, they wanted to be honest with their fans.
Within Colbie’s statement on social media, she wrote that “It will be hard, but often times the hard choice is the right choice and the path that will allow each of us to move forward and to grow.” To fans of their band, Gone West, she also confirmed that they would continue working together, and continue to make music together despite their romantic separation.
Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde
Remember back in March when we thought that our lives couldn’t get much worse? Ha, those were the days. In November 2020, we were dealt another blow when it was confirmed that Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde had broken up after ten years together and seven years of being engaged. The worst bit? They actually broke up at the beginning of the year.
While there’s no doubt about the fact that fans of this talented couple were sad to see them part ways, a source close to their family has confessed that they are still close for the sake of their children. They said that “It’s been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine.” That’s what we like to hear.
Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn
It’s no secret that the music industry has taken a hit in 2020, but what happens when two love birds/band members break up? That’s exactly what happened to The Sunflowers. Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn are both members of the band, and until recently, they were also a couple. But news broke in August that they had broken up.
News of their separation came just a few weeks after the couple released a new episode of their Facebook Watch Series, Unfiltered: Paris Jackson and Gabriel Glenn. At the time, Michael Jackson’s daughter noted that she and her boyfriend often found themselves “butting heads.” In the end, 2020 gained another celebrity breakup.
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green
Yep, these guys have been on and off more than your average light switch, but 2020 seems to be a definite “off” for Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green. This couple first got together in 2004, and they’ve since got engaged, broken up, got engaged again, got married, filed for divorce, got back together again, filed for divorce again, and then got back together. In May 2020, it was announced that they had separated AGAIN.
Brian and Megan have been separated for most of the year, and this last blow supposedly came after Megan lived away from her husband while she was filming a movie last year. According to Brian, Megan told him that she “realized when I was out of the country working alone that I feel more like myself…and I think that might be something worth trying for me.” We wonder if this separation will stick?
Meek Mill and Milan Harris
If you’re familiar with the life and times of Meek Mill, you’ll know that it’s been full of drama. From stints in prison to altercations with ex Nicki Minaj’s new husband, he’s constantly having to deal with damage control. Unfortunately, this just wasn’t enough to keep his baby mama from sticking around in 2020.
Just three months after welcoming a child with Milan Harris, his ex-girlfriend broke things off – and many people blame Kanye West for this. In a Twitter tirade, Kanye seemed to hint that his wife Kim Kardashian had cheated on him with Meek while he was with Milan. Of course, nobody really believed him, but that didn’t stop Milan from ending things.
Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart
If you’re a fan of Riverdale, we’re gonna assume you shipped Bughead so hard you didn’t quite know how to contain your emotions. Things got even more exciting when Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart got together in real life, and it seemed as though everyone’s comic book dreams had come true. But these two have been on and off in the past, and it seems as though they are now permanently off.
The couple became the subject of romance rumors back in 2017, but in April 2020, these rumors began to change in their tone. Some suggested that Cole had cheated on Lili, but he seemed to deny this in an open letter to his fans. Nevertheless, they had broken up by May, with a source close to them stating that “Their personalities are very different. and their lifestyles often clashed.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
We never thought this day would come; but 2020 (well, 2021 officially) is the year that Kim and Kanye parted ways. They had taken over the world as the iconic “Kimye” for almost a decade, but news reported in January 2021 that the couple had quietly separated a few months earlier. According to reports, a divorce is “imminent.”
The couple tied the knot in 2014 and quickly rose to become one of Hollywood’s most quirky couples with their fashion choices and their minimalist homes. However, as Kim studied hard to become a lawyer and Kanye had dreams of living in the White House, the cracks began to show and they drifted apart. Despite the fact that the pair welcomed four kids together, it seems as though they just couldn’t make it work.
